Exchange

that a company builds a two-server clustered Exchange environment to
assure high availability, as well as having a failover cluster for
Disaster Recovery in a backup Data Center. Each of those
environments contains a server for Web access to EMAIL (Outlook Web
Access or OWA server) and an SMTP Gateway server to provide Internet
EMAIL. Standard external peripherals such as tape backup and
external storage are included, however no Data Center Costs are
included.

The costs of implementation that have
been calculated above are now plugged into two comparative analysis,
one for a 400 person environment and one for a 100 person
environment. The Cash outlay is amortized over a 3 year
period.
