Failover capabilities exist for all aspects of the system, including network interfaces, application servers (OWA, POP, IMAP, SMTP) and the backend Exchange servers.  The current disaster recovery plan ensures that users can send and receive mail within 48 hours of a declared platform disaster event, matching the strict standards set forth in the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner program.  The DR plan has been successfully tested as part of the Microsoft Gold certification process during the audited disaster recovery test. Complete testing of the disaster recovery process and procedures are performed quarterly

Trend Mico is used.  Updates are downloaded and applied on a daily basis as a minimum.
